Schedule and Guidelines for Karnataka Students:
Round 1: Statewide Prelims on 24th August 2012:
The test should be written as a team (2 students per team).The school/college itself will correct the test paper and select "Two Best Teams" in order of Merit.
Note: Students of Schools/PU Colleges in the City Corporation limits of Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Bellary, Davangere, Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum & Gulbarga cities are not eligible to participate in the quiz.
Round 2 : District Level Quiz on 7th September,2012:
Each school/college to send their team for the district round. test should also be written as a team (2 students per team). After the written round, the top 25 teams from each district will be selected for Round 3.
Round 3 : Regional Level Quiz Competition from 03-10-2012 to 11-10-2012:
There would be 3 Regional Rounds across the State.

Top 25 teams from each district will take part in the Regional Level Competition.Written test will be administered to all the teams.Top 6 teams from each regional round will be called on stage to take part in an interactive quiz .The winning team from each regional round will participate in the State Final.
Round 4: State Finals on 11th October,2012:
The winning team from each Regional Level Round, will participate in the State Finals to be held at Mysore on 11th October,2012. The State Final winners are then got selected for National Level Quiz Finals.
National Level Finals: October 18th,Bengaluru
The Rural IT Quiz National Finals will be held at Bengaluru on October 18th, as part of the Asia’s premier ICT event “BangaloreIT.biz 2012”.The winning team from all States, will participate in the National Final.
