Use Facebook through SMS in Mobile

Don’t hav net connection?.still you wann to update your facebook status?.Affcourse!,you can by sending an sms though mobile where the sms rates were normal!. you can update status, send message, add friends and many more on facebook using your mobile phone text messaging service.Here is a step by step procedure.it might be useful who travel alot.

1. Go to http://www.facebook.com/mobile/ and click on Facebook Mobile Text

2. Select Country as “India” and service provider name

3. If you are a “Tata Indicom” user then select “Tata Indicom” from the list or select other service carrier

4. Depending on your mobile service provider, you will get a number to send a text message containing “f” without quotes. Here is the number:

For Other service providers,

After sending the SMS to the number, you will receive a confirmation code. Now enter the confirmation code on the window open on your computer screen. Done!

You can stop or control the service at any point of time. If you are logged in to your facebook account on your computer then go ahead and click on “Settings” at the top of your facebook window and open “Account Settings”. Go to the “Mobile” tab available on settings page. Control the incoming messages and updates from Facebook or stop that service from there. P.S:I use this while am travelling or where i don’t have any net connection in that place.:)
